Overseeing the marriage of form and function at Lost Rabbit, Barranco Architecture, PLLC, serves as the aesthetic guide as the project takes shape and its beauty emerges. Michael Barranco, the firm’s founder, has believed for years in crafting dwellings that blend interior design, landscape design and the flow of traffic in and around a space.
In addition to Barranco, Lost Rabbit features a list of approved architects whose work and standards are in tune with the symphony being pieced together here. Residents, of course, are able to choose another architect, dependent on the matching of the architect with the Lost Rabbit vision. The Architectural Review Board makes the final determination.
“While various architectural styles are allowed, the predominant style at Lost Rabbit is French Colonial, chosen because of its appropriateness to this region, honoring its historical proportions and simplicity and adhering to an accurate use of materials. Additional styles include Classical Greek Revival, Mississippi Federal and Mississippi Italianate. Above all, it is the desire of the development to evolve these styles and develop a style that becomes known as the Lost Rabbit Style.”— Michael Barranco
